Introduction

You can display content on multiple Products by using the Product Information feature. This allows you to centrally manage content and assign that content to Products in your catalog that are similar. You may assign multiple Product Information titles to a single Product. As a best practice, we suggest using Product Information, over Product Descriptions, for ease of content management.

Viewing and Editing existing Product Information

Login to the Administrative side of your database and navigate to Settings > Assignments > Product Information. This will list existing Product Information and allows you to View or Edit them.

Creating New Product Information

From the Product Information list page, click the "Add New Information" button.



Give your new Product Information a Title, use the editor to add text, images or other items and click the Save button.


Once you have saved, you may preview your Product Information and you can inactivate it.

Assigning Product Information

We suggest assigning Product Information at the Category level. This allows you to organize your content so new Products will automatically be assigned relevant information. For example, if you have a Summer Camps Category and Summer Camps Product Information, you may assign the Summer Camps Product Information to all new Summer Camps Products.

You can also assign Product Information to individual Products, as well as Deny a Product Information assignment that happened at the Category level. Navigate to the Products section of the Administrative side of your database and click on the Assignments tab. Locate Product Information and drag it from the Unassigned to Assigned column. This may change the Status of inherited Product Information.
