The Learner Profile

The top section of the Course Grader screen contains the Learner Profile. Inside the Learner Profile is the Learner’s Name, Email Address, Course Purchase Date, Last Update, and Course Status. Last Update is the Learner’s last recorded interaction with the Course.

The Course Grader lists all Course Items that can be graded, e.g. Exams and Essays. It displays the Item’s name, status, due date, the number of attempts to pass the item, the grade, and the percentage correct. Click the EDIT ICON to grade the Item.

Below the list of Course Items is an area to input the Final Percentage and the Final Grade for the entire Course. Click SAVE. If the saved Final Percentage is less than the Course’s Passing Percentage, the Course Status will change to FAILED. Likewise, if the saved Final Percentage is equal to or greater than the Course’s Passing Percentage, the Course Status will change to PASSED.

The Course Grader’s Options section contains several date fields. The Send Date and Received Date fields are used to document the transmission of Course Results to Organizations. The Options section also displays the Course’s Default Expiration Date. Enter an Expiration Date Override to (for example) extend this date. Click to SAVE OPTIONS.

The Notes section allows you to add notes, and to view, edit, and delete previously added notes.

Click the EDIT ICON to grade a Course Item. The Options section of the Course Item Grader screen displays percentage and grade fields. If the Course Item is Auto Graded, it displays a Required to Pass field and a Correct field.

The Required to Pass field displays the percentage of answers that must be correct to pass the Course Item, and the Correct field displays the percentage that the Learner got correct. To override this, input an Admin Percentage value. To enter a Grade, input a value into that field. Click to SAVE the Percentage and the Grade.
