Enabling Card Swipe Mode

Overview

Configio uses IDTECH SRED Key2 Credit Card Swipes for all Configio Shows when sales are being processed on-site. To allow these swipes to work, you need to enable ‘Card Swipe Mode’ on each computer.

 

To navigate to this setting, add the following URL parameter to the end of the database admin URL:  /CardSwipeMode.aspx

For Example: https://bill4.configiodemo.com/admin/CardSwipeMode.aspx 

 

This URL will bring up this page:

 

To enable Card Swipe Mode, click the toggle to "enabled:" 

 

Please note: 

This must be done for all Laptops connected to an SRED Key. This setting is session-based, so this process would need to be repeated if the browser is closed or the history is cleared.
