Badge[on]Demand Integration

Configio's integration with Badge[on]Demand has been updated to improve station traceability and reliability for high-volume event printing workflows.

Improvements

  1. Print station tracking: When a badge is printed from Configio, the print URL sent to Badge[on]Demand can now include the name of the workstation that initiated the print. This gives Badge[on]Demand a consistent, traceable location with every print job — making it easier to diagnose issues and audit print activity across multiple stations at large events.
    1. When setting up the BOD Service Manager, the print URL must contain the case sensitive parameter ‘&stationname={{Username}}’
  2. Sync and recalculate processing time increase: Admins running the Badge[on]Demand sync or recalculate functions from the product group in Configio could previously hit hard timeout errors on large datasets The sync process has been updated to run with a higher timeout ceiling, allowing larger volume recalculations to complete.

Attendance & Sign-Out

Sign-in/sign-out sheets are used by event staff to track participant attendance across sessions and time ranges.
  1. Removed participant indicator: Sign-in/sign-out sheets will now display a ‘X’ when a participant has been removed from attendance within the date range selected on the sheet.

Priority Notes

Priority notes are used by admins to flag important information at the Account or Participant level — things like billing holds, VIP status, or access restrictions. The behavior of these notes previously varied slightly depending on whether you were viewing them on an Account record vs. a Participant record, with different header messages and display logic in each context.

Improvements

  1. Unified behavior across Account and Participant records: Priority note messaging and display rules are now standardized across both record types. Admins will see a consistent experience regardless of where they're managing a note, with updated header language that applies equally to both contexts.

Reporting – Addition of Allotment Coordinator details

For reports that use the Order Product dataset, new data fields have been added to surface details for the Primary Coordinator for the Organization of the Allotment used for the ordered item(s)

Account Access Codes

Account Access Codes are used by cart users to manage gated access to products. The access code management page has been redesigned to make codes easier to track and annotate, particularly for accounts managing multiple codes across different purposes or groups.

Improvements

  1. Redesigned access code display: The Account Access Code page now presents codes in a cleaner card-based layout that’s more organized, efficient, and mobile responsive
  2. Each code displayed can now have a free-text note attached to it. This is useful for documenting what a code is for, who it was assigned to, or any other reference information that helps account users manage codes
