Configio Release - July 6th, 2026
This release delivers improvements to RFID badge management, a new virtual queue flow for high-demand registration events, an update to Badge[on]Demand print data accuracy, and a fix to date sorting in CRM campaign results.
RFID Management
Configio supports RFID tag assignment for badge tracking — allowing staff to associate physical RFID tags with attendee records and manage them from both the onsite check-in workflow and the badge search page. Both of those surfaces have been updated with clearer messaging and a more guided experience when working with invalid or already-used tags.
Improvements
Badge History modal — improved RFID messaging: When an admin attempts to assign an RFID tag from the Enter RFID modal on the Onsite or Account pages, the modal now provides clearer feedback when a tag is invalid or has already been assigned to another record. Previously, error states in this flow were inconsistent and required additional steps to diagnose. The updated messaging surfaces the relevant status immediately, reducing the back-and-forth needed to resolve tag conflicts.
Badge Search page — more intuitive RFID experience: The Badge Search page, used to look up attendees by RFID scan, now handles invalid or used tag scenarios more gracefully. Admins scanning a tag that doesn't match an active record or has already been processed will see a clear, actionable message rather than a generic failure state — keeping the check-in line moving during high-volume events.
Virtual Queue Management
Configio's Queue-It integration enables virtual waiting rooms for high-demand registration and purchase events — controlling how many users enter the cart flow at once to prevent system overload and ensure fair access. This release adds support for the en-queue flow, a stricter queue path designed for events where identity verification before checkout is required.
What's New
- Queue-It en-queue flow: The en-queue flow adds a mandatory authentication step between the virtual waiting room and the cart. When enabled, users pass through the Queue-It waiting room as normal, but are required to log in to an existing account — or create a new one — before they are allowed to enter the queue. This prohibits a single user from leveraging multiple browser sessions from holding queue positions. The flow can be configured per-event on the Service Manager setup.
Badge[on]Demand — Print Data Accuracy
The Product Group Badge Print report has been updated the underlying data sources and logic to improve accuracy and give admins a more reliable view of total participants printed vs pending to support admins in better gauging staffing and onsite flow needs.
Improvements
- Badge print data source updated: The data source powering the Product Group Badge print report has been reworked to surface more accurate print information. Admins reviewing badge data from Badge[on]Demand will now see a cleaner, higher-fidelity dataset — reducing discrepancies between what appears in the report and what has been printed.
CRM – Campaign Results
The CRM module tracks campaign activity against account and participant profiles, including a results view that logs when each campaign was sent or processed. Date sorting on that view was not ordering records correctly, making it difficult to review campaign history in sequence.
Improvements
- Campaign results date sorting corrected: The date column in the Account CRM profile campaign results view now sorts accurately by the logged date and time. Records can be ordered chronologically in either direction, giving admins a reliable timeline of campaign activity for a given account.
