Your Customers can access a list of Volunteer Jobs via a Menu Item, and then can add them to the Cart like other Products. Contact Support to turn on the Menu Item.
Tip: we can customize the text of this menu as well if you prefer something other than "Volunteer Jobs".
Potential Volunteers can simply just navigate to the Volunteers Jobs section of your Shopping Cart and click to Search and View available Jobs.
From there, they just need to login or create an Account. Then, they simply choose a Participant and click the Register button.
They will then be shown the Registration Confirmation screen.
Once a Volunteer has registered for a Job, they can View it via the Account -> My Volunteer Jobs menu link. There, they can click to Cancel their Registration, or to Message other Volunteers.
If they can't make it, then a Volunteer can just click the Cancel button. Note: If they had already used an Any-to-Any Discount that originated from the registration, then cancelling will result in a balance due for the discounted amount.
If a Volunteer wants to send a message to others that are registered for the same Job, then they can click the Message button. They can determine who gets the message, and how it is delivered. After composing a title and a body for the message, then can click the Send button.
Note: The capability for Volunteers (and Volunteer Leaders) to message each other is managed via a Configuration. Likewise, the amount of information that the System can share about fellow Volunteers, is managed via Configurations.
