Roster Group and Assignments
Example: You have an event and would like to have multiple teams and give them a specific instructor for your staff to manage on the day of the event.
How To: Under Assignments, choose Roster Groups. The Unassigned column will list all Lists managed under Settings > Lists. Drag over the list you would like to use in making Roster Groups. This will allow you to later assign each Participant to a given value within the list. IE – if you have a Team List with list items of Team A and Team B, you will later be able to assign Participants to Team A or Team B.
On the Calendar Tab, ensure you have a Calendar schedule created (if not, click Create). Then click an individual date within the calendar schedule to bring up the calendar modal.
On the calendar modal, click Attendance to view the Participants attending that day’s event.
On an individual date, you can filter the Participants by Roster Group assignment using the top drop downs, and make Roster Group Assignments per Participant in the drop downs to the right of each Participant Name.
Upon making the Participant’s assignments, you can check the box at the bottom for Save assignment for all days in schedule to save the team assignment for all days on the Calendar or simply Save (or Save and Close) the assignments for only that date.
By expanding the date range, you can take attendance for several dates in the schedule at once. However, you cannot make Roster Group Assignments.
