reCAPTCHA

Have more questions? Submit a request

Introduction

We have implemented reCAPTCHA as an additional security feature for several public pages:
  • On the Survey setup, you can determine if reCAPTCHA is required to complete the form
  • On Referral Profiles, you can determine if reCAPTCHA is required to send a referral invite
  • Via configuration, you can require reCAPTCHA to submit a support ticket
  • Via configuration, you can require reCAPTCHA to create an account

Getting Started

There are two separate configurations that will need to be enabled, in order to use this feature for accounts and feedback, or support ticket creation.

To do this navigate to Settings > Setup > Configuration
Search for "captcha"

Surveys

When creating a survey you can decide if you want to enable CAPTCHA at that time. Just check the Captcha box under survey setup:

Referral Profiles

When creating a referral profile you can enable CAPTCHA on the setup page:

Creating a new Account
When "Require captcha for account creation" is enabled, a user who is registering for a new account will see a reCAPTCHA box at the bottom of the form.
This asking them to check the "I'm not a robot" box, to confirm that they are not a robot.

Once the user has checked the box, they will be able to continue with the account creation process.

Submitting feedback or help ticket

When "Require captcha for support ticket creation" is enabled, a user submitting feedback, or a support ticket, will see a reCAPTCHA box at the bottom of the form.
Just like in account creation, this is asking them to check the "I'm not a robot" box, to confirm that they are not a robot.

Once a user checks the box to confirm, they will be able to continue to submit their feedback, or create a support ticket.
