Overview
When a user requests a password reset through the Customer Cart or the Admin Console login screen, they will receive an email with a link that will take them to the Account Reset Password screen. This link is valid for sixty minutes after the email was sent and cannot be used again once the user has reset their password.
Password Reset
If a user has forgotten their password and needs to reset it, they can begin by selecting the Forgot Password? link under the login fields.
Note: the login and Reset Password screens within the Customer Cart and Admin Console will look different!
You will be presented with the Forgot Password page. Here, you will enter the account's Username or Email Address and select Submit.
An email will be sent to the email address associated with the account. If the email address entered is not associated to an account, no email will be sent.
In the Forgot Password email, select the Set Password link.
This link will take you to a new web page where you will need to type in your new password twice.
Once you select the Submit button your password will be updated, and you will be able to log into Configio using your new credentials.
