Configio offers three methods to limit Discounts on a per-Product basis. On any given Product, go to the Advanced Product tab and find the Billing section.
The first limitation method is setting the Minimum Price for the Product. No matter what Discounts are assigned and the customer meets the requirements for, the Product cannot be discounted below the price entered in "Minimum Price." Note that the default value for all Products is 0.
Second, you can limit the number of Discounts a customer can apply to a given Product by checking the "Limit Number of Discounts" box. This will populate a new text field to enter the maximum number of Discounts that can apply to the given Product.
If the Product cannot be discounted at all, the 0 value would eliminate any Discounts from applying. Conversely, if you have an early registration Discount and several coupon Discounts available, but you only want the customer to be able to use one Discount, set the maximum number to 2 (allowing the early Discount and coupon to apply together).
Note: The customer will receive the highest value Discounts they attempt to apply. For example - if they apply a $10 coupon and a $15 coupon, but only one Discount is allowed, they will receive $15 off.
Finally, if you are accepting deposits you can ignore Discounts and Fees if the customer chooses the Deposit option:
Using this checkbox, all Discounts and Fees are ignored when the customer chooses the Deposit option.
